Ok I've dug a little bit and think I have found the issue(s), these network
chipsets are on the PCI-X/e bus?
Does the 2.4.34 kernel have support for this bus?
If not does anyone know what I have to do to fix that?

Cheers

P.S I got the 7.6.9 build to compile just fine which is meant to be the
first build that supports the 82573x chipsets, but loading the module
doesn't find the onboard cards, hence why I'm wondering if it's a pci-x/e
issue in the kernel.

as told off-list

I have a V 7.6.5 compiled against 2.4.34, could not get the latest
7.6.15 to compile within the toolchain and had no urgent need neither. I
_believe_ the source should be in CVS.

cheers
