So I installed the most recent version of Bering uClibc on my PC Engines
WRAP. I have set the timezone in /etc/TZ to
EST5EDT with a newline at the end (I also tried without the newline).
However /etc/TZ doesn't seem to get read. The timezone is always UTC.
What is going wrong?

So I was using elvis and e3vi. Which apparently were adding a blank
line to the bottom. I edited with e3ne and removed the extra line and
it works fine now. I suppose /etc/TZ is a bit sensitive.

gotten the wireless card up an running with the madwifi drivers and all
of the tools seem to work. My next step is to actually convert this
over to running WPA2 and bridged. Are there any instructions for this
anywh

It is all up and working, except that people on the wireless can't ping
across to the wired side? I'm not sure if it is shorewall or where to
look. Thoughts?

Not for turning them on and off. I am using echo for that. I meant for
timing. For example I want to wait n-miliseconds. Right now there is
only sleep on the leaf which lets me wait seconds. I was looking to use
usleep.

Whats the easiest way to build and test then? Can I build on the leaf box?

Does anyone have some instructions for setting this up? I found a bunch
of sets of instructions online, but nothing that actually worked and
wasn't very outdated. I have tried a bunch of things, but nothing has
worked yet. The PPTPD is up and running as far as I can tell, but I
can't seem to

I generally like the WRAP. It's sad to me, I have a couple of them
doing different things. I found the Soekris to expensive for most of my
purposes also just too large. Are there any boxes the size of the WRAP
that we could use to build APs?

What is the easiest way to update from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 without removing the CF
card from my WRAP?

Thats what I noticed too. I was actually going to use it instead of the
WRAP for my latest project but it only had either 32 or 64MB of RAM for
the equivalent setup.

I looked through the list, but all of the links to the package that was
built seem to be missing. Does anyone have NSUpdate packaged up? Why
hasn't it made its way into the contrib area?

I want to update my own Bind server. Can that be done with ez-ipupdate?

Does anyone know how to do it? I found the spot to do it in the newer
version of HostAPD but not in 0.57 (which is in leaf).
