[leaf-user] Prism2 Wireless HostAP Success, and a few questions.

Hi, all. I've recently got BuC-2.2 running on a new system for testing - great setup, everyone; nice work - and I'm now trying to get it to "play nice" with my Prism2 DWL-520E wireless PCI card. To do so, I've I've actually had success getting the card up and running by using the following pr

Hi, everyone. I've recently added a Debian box (intended for playing around with Apache and Samba) to my internal LAN, on which I've only previously had a W2K box and a W2K laptop. These latter two machines have always played nice with my UcB2.0 router via a network switch, and I've even be

I'm afraid that I can't provide any info concerning those card manufacturers. I have learned, though, that most any card with a Prism2/3 chipset (anything "Intersil", for example) can be made to work. My knowledge is strictly 802.11b, though. Right now, I'm interested in the AP problem, and I

Hi, everybody. I'm having a heap of trouble with my uClibc wireless setup, and I'm hoping that someone can suggest where I've gone wrong. Please let me know what additional info I should supply, as well. I'm running uClibc-2.1-rc1 on a Dell Pentium II system, booting off a CF card. Works ni

Sorry for not responding right away. My BIOS does NOT allow for adjustments to the IDE controller (large, LBA, etc.) It's very strange in this respect - and I've tried both Master and Slave settings. I just flashed the BIOS to the most recent (1998) version, and no dice - still no autodetect

I realize that this might be a little general, or even a bit off-topic, but I figured that there must be SOMEone who has run into this problem at least once. I'm currently running Bering-uClibc-2.0_rc2 in a single-floppy arrangement, and it's been working flawlessly for a couple months. I use
