Greetings all! I'm trying to set up LRP using the dachstein image on a 486 with a serial port modem and diald. I have almost everything configured and apparently working except the modem. I try to communicate with it through /dev/ttyS0 (it is COM1), but all that I get is the following error:
cannot create /dev/ttyS0: error 19 This would indicate to me that the proper module isn't in the kernel. I have added serial, slhc, slip, ppp and ppp_deflate. Is there another module I need to load?? Any pointers in the proper direction would be appreciated! TIA!
