Suggestions, please, for next steps: I have successfully run the eigerstein image using the rtl8139 driver for my ethernet cards: http://lrp.steinkuehler.net/files/kernels/Eiger/modules/net/ I installed the eigerstein2beta image using the same rtl8139 module. The network reports down with the following syslogs:
