I've got a couple of FA311s working fine here, albeit on 3.0-beta-1 and
alongside another type of card. They're using the natsemi driver, and as you're
aware this relies on the crc32 module as well.
What are your symptoms of "no luck"?

difficulty finding the right NIC driver.
All of my NICs in the box are the same; they're Netgear FA311s. I've tried
the natsemi driver, the tulip driver, and the crc32 driver with both...but
no luck.
Suggestions?

Heya Craig,
the natsemi.o is the module for the FA311 Cards. If you load the module
it will work for multiple cards. I have one system with 4 or 5 NICs on
one module.
In the network.conf you should setup your interfaces as normal.
