Thank you to all who shared the inofrmation on using Vonage with Bering. I had Vonage for around 2 weeks now and it works well, without almost any special setup. The only thing I did is that I set up DHCP to assign a static address to the Vonage phone adaptor. M Lu -

Just to add to this discussion - I too am investigating this option. There has been some discussion of Vonage on the Shorewall mailing lists - you can search them at shorewall.net - keyword "vonage". Looks like users on that list have gotten it to work - and a listing of the rules can be found
