Yes, this is possible with Dachstein. But you have to do some modifications on /etc/network.conf if you wish the wireless device to be controlled and configured like an ordinary interface. Along with some modifications on the original wireless scripts so that the Dachstein firewall/routing will adjust automatically as you pop-in/out a wireless card. > > Does anyone know what cards are compatible with the > drivers available? The drivers/modules comes along with the open source wireless project you wish to use. I am using both host_ap http://hostap.epitest.fi/ and the orinoco modules that came along with pcmcia-cs-3.2.1 http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ftp/ on my DS box. The cards I've tested considerably and works on my DS Box are: LinksysWPC11 - AP and STA mode using hostap modules Orinoco Silver - using hermes and orinoco modules (Bridging not supported) ZCOMAX-XI300 - AP and STA mode using hostap modules and some generic Prism (Intersil Firware) card - AP and STA mode using hostap modules. > Any help or ideas is appreciated! > > -Rich HTH - Vic ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: viaVerio will pay you up to $1,000 for every account that you consolidate with us. http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;4749864;7604308;v? http://www.viaverio.com/consolidator/osdn.cfm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
