Thanks to all for your reply. I had testing both
bering and bering uclibc.

Under bering I had to load 8390 module first, followed
by a trick. I made a copy of ne module with another
name, like ne1 like instance, then load one interface
with ne module and the other with module ne1, in my
case detailing io and irq, perhaps was unuseful detail
irq, but I will test again to comment about it.

Under bering uclibc I had to load crc32 module before
8390 and ne modules. I did not test without load 8390
yet. ne interfaces was loaded with trick described
above.

But meanwhile bering run succesfully I am not able to
run b-uclibc, with some testings I found that the
network listen to the router in both ways, but it can
reach the internet, perhaps a nameserver trouble.

Rather, I had found that the speed is lower compared
against a Win9x connected directly, but the same when
compared with my mandrake box router/firewall. How can
I improve the speed ? I had setup the mtu (1000 -
1452), that really change the speed but I cannot
increase the speed untill now. Is it affected by
shorewall setup, my switch, the networks interfaces ?.
or simply is a modem (zyxel 642m) specially designed
for win9x ?

How important is to load dnsmasq package ?

Thanks newly
