I have a LEAF firewall running on Oxygen that I'm trying to switch over to
Bering 1.2. I can't get the rtl8139 driver to load. I've tried loading the
mii.o module and that doesn't help. I've seen references to a pci-scan
module on this mailing list, however, it isn't included in the modul

I use 8139 interface. I load mii first and then 8139too and it works. I
do not use pci-scan.
