Hi Brock

This was asked earlier today, so you may want to hook up with the previous
poster (HENRY PSENICKA [EMAIL PROTECTED]).

I have no experience of the ISA adapter, but you will have to set it up. Try
the PCMCIA LINUX HOWTO for info and possible contacts. Also try sourceforge
for any info on using it. As for pcmcia drivers, I had the following
compiled for me some time ago, they work with Eigerstein. I use them on an
old laptop (486 Tosh) which works 100%.

Subject: [Leaf-user] wireless connection to ISP

I don't yet have my hands on any of the hardware yet... but would like to
know if this is feasible!

I've used LRP for a while now, mostly Eiger from Charles' site, but also
Eigerstein. This time, a friend wants to use his old 486 c/w 16MB RAM to
serve as a gateway for a wireless connection he is getting from his ISP. So
he will need an ISA - PCMCIA card to accept the BreezeCom PCD radio card.

Can someone tell me if the drivers required to use this card with LRP are
around?

When using the PCMCIA adapter card, is it transparent? i.e., do I simply add
PCMCIA support and the slot becomes live, or do I need an actual driver for
the adapter card first? Once the slot is live, I then need to find a driver
for the radio card itself!

The rest should be fine - I've done it before, but this PCMCIA card issue is
a new one for me.

Thanks,
