To what purpose is that helpful? base-f
make build without problems. Thanks.
If ext4 is a buildin of the Kernel then it should be removed from kmod because
it cannot be deselected and select make no sense. Same to vfat (if buildin).

In general that's right, but disabling all postinst(-pkg) and prerm(-pkg) is
more than awful.
If base-files not selected you should nevertheless call postinst-/prerm-pkg.
Otherwise their is no real chance to work without base-files whatever you do in
package Makefile.

Do you really think this is a good idea ?
If base-files package is not selected, the postinst-pkg and prerm-pkg of none
of the other selected packages will be called.
It's nice to suppress error messages but to switch off all postinst and prerm

I'm trying to add support for a ZyXEL NSA310 (kirkwood-based NAS), but
the kernel does not find the rootfs in the ubi.
The image has kernel+rootfs(squashfs)+rootfs_data(ubifs?) in ubi, built with
FILESYSTEMS := squashfs
IMAGES += factory.bin
IMAGE/factory.bin := append-ubi

I do agree that a more distinct name change than "lede" is needed for
the added googlejuice. To me though the openthis, openthat,
libretheotherthing meme has got kind of old in recent years, although
it does seem to end up hinting
OpenLEDE
The name both combines the project names and conveys that sense of greater
transparency that was, in part, the purpose of the LEDE project.

Hi,
There was a problem with opkg:
https://git.lede-project.org/?p=source.git;a=commit;h=dc5f496a0df8d125ce172fc40100098b18da2300
Should be fixed now. Just a (rather transient ;-) ) patch of bad luck.
Cheers

Rework wpa_key_mgmt handling for wpa_supplicant to be consistent with

Enable support for stronger SHA256-based algorithms in hostapd and
wpa_supplicant when using WPA-EAP or WPA-PSK with 802.11w enabled.
We cannot unconditionally enable it, as it requires hostapd to be
compiled with 802.11w support, which is disabled in the -mini variants.

While the standard does not require SHA256-based algorithms when PFM is
mandatory, there's not much of a point in keeping the old algorithms
enabled.
