I can find no information about downloading and installing ledger on macos.
The dmg link found here http://www.ledger-cli.org/download.html
seems to be dead:
ftp://ftp.newartisans.com/pub/ledger/ledger-devel-3.0.0-20120510.dmg
Can I use macports, brew etc. to get ledger? What is the
Best bet for now is to download the source. I use macports for the
dependencies.

I was able to install it with brew, just using brew install --HEAD
--use-llvm ledger

I also install ledger via homebrew, and it works great.
If you need the Python bindings be sure to add the --with-python
option to the brew install command.
