Many reports (e.g. chart of account report on a single account) have a button
"permalink", which have a nice side effect of reloading that report again.
Any additional items which have been added (in other windows, perhaps via
middle click on reports...) will show up in report.

With 1.4.26, I seem unable to mark an account as being obsolete.
The button is there, but it doesn't seem do stay clicked.
