Pretty sure it is possible to pin a dependency somehow
in a Makefile to ensure that only a particular version
of a dependent module is acceptable as fulfilling that
dependency. It should certainly be possible to test
for this possibility in setup.pl.

No, I'm not. At least I don't think so. I built this server from a
debian base install, so unless that is the default for apache2 in
debian, I don't think so. /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/ shows no evidence
of it, at any rate. But its not like I know apache inside and out, but

I am interested in integrating web commerce applications with
LedgerSMB to automate the basic accounting process of creating
a new or using an existing customer, processing inventory
through the books and handling invoicing, receipts (instant
payment notification processing) and recurring billing.
I'm curious to know if anyone here has done any work to integrate
agora.cgi with sql-ledger or SMBLedger? I'm exploring a project where I
might try to put them together. It'd be great to get a leg up on that
project, or to find collaborators for such an animal.
want the folks doing
purchasing to interact with the SMBLedger interface to monitor
inventory, the accountant to use SMBLedger to pull reports and
reconcile books. And the online store front to handle all of
its own bookkeeping without human intervention.
