Yep, there was an awful lot of unjustified vitriol about SG from that quarter
from what I remember. The decision to sack him was a disgrace then and remains
so with the benefit of hindsight.

comments on Twitter to that effect. Is he back?

I've no idea. But surely supposition is enough
I won't return to Elland Road until Bates is gone properly or dead.

GFH said before they took over that Bates would not be involved after they
bought us so what changed? They must know how the fans feel about him so we can
only assume Bates has something up his sleeve.
His continued involvement will always place a divide between the fans and the
club.
I wonder
I am not against GFH , my concerns are that it took so long to complete the
deal that they lost all impetus and did not ride in on the wave of optimism
that they would have done if they had taken over pre season.
We do not know if Bates staying on was part of the deal - they have neither

Nothing much to add to Dave's report - I just think that there are 2 figures
that sum up yesterday (and the current LUFC malaise)...the crowd 11, 447 (and to

I don't think armchair supporters are in any position to comment about the
performance of our players. Us poor sods who actually go and have to watch this
