I knew John on the YORKSGEN (Genealogy) forum as well as on here, and his
passion for LUFC, Yorkshire & sports was clear for all to see. He was very
proud of his career as a sports broadcaster, and especially his Sports
broadcaster
Very sorry to hear about your loss. John was a good poster whose love for Leeds
was clear.

I never met John, but I always enjoyed reading his contributions to the list. I
think it's obvious that we all felt like we knew him, and are sad to hear of
his passing.
