Andrew Umbers long interview with Phil Hay.
Whether you believe him is up to you, but on balance I prefer most of his
explanations to xenophobia, conjecture and conspiracy theories. However
I'll indulge in conspiracy myself :) and say I think redfearn AND thompson
will be at the club next
If only we could believe a word he says ! The interview has made me feel a bit
happier and I went 'yes' a few times in my head reading it BUT then the other
voice in my head (I really should stop the drugs) kept reminding me of all the
lies and deceit that our 'leaders' have told us over the
Bleeding hell, that bloke should be running against miliband and Cameron . He'd
wipe the flaw with them.
Total Bullshit ! IMO

PH: The four young players who've been a shining light this season - Cook,
Mowatt, Taylor, Byram - have contracts been offered to those players?
AU: *cut waffle out* Leeds United do not want to lose any of these young
players. Leeds United will not lose any of these young players.
Odds on that
Neil that is, not Anthea.

I wanted Cellino. I see now he's every bit as bad as the worst predictions
predicted.
Why would he do it? I am not sure he did but if you want an insight into
his lunacy - he says that there was a breakdown in communication between
Redfearn and Umbers clearly hinting it was Redfearn's fault, then

Totally agree Richard all seems a bit convenient to me and smacks of conspiracy
theories.
On one side people say he is thick on the other a Machiavellian master.

If I had to guess what has been going on with all this player nonsense, it
is that, as reported, Silvestri and Antenucci had tweaks / knocks. Doukara,
Bellusci, Cani and Del Fabro were fine. Without wishing to horrifically
generalise at the mentality of all players signed from Southern Europe,

I was pretty heartened by this interview, even considering that the chances
are that most of it is blather. (Great job by PH, btwexcellent
probing questions.) The one phrase which really worried me was expectation
management. Don't like the sound of that at all.

If only this were true. Alas, all psychologists will tell you that one lie
leads to another to another, and therefore the idea of applying statistical
probability to truth is unrealistic.

I don't see that either Rich. But I liked how the piece spoke about his and
Tracy Ward's work with the youth, and how they're trying to developing them as
young men much as footballers. You got a sense that people in the background
are trying to do the right thing, and they really care about
I can't see what Cellino would get out of arranging the 'injuries' of the 6
players ? Why would he want to undermine Redfearn ? He appointed him !!
Cellino has since said he had nothing to do with it and plans to return for the
Rotherham game and doesn't care whether people boo him.
I can
Agreed!
Cellino's ego won't allow him to take a back seat and watch someone like
Redfearn succeed. He undermined McDermott (remember the nonsense about making
McDermott wear a tracksuit on matchdays?), then brought in a complete nobody to
replace him. To me, any discussion of Cellino's
