Thanks for all your suggestions - there are more than one that are noted for the future. In the end I arrived in Leeds quite late and the first restaurant to answer the phone was Bibis so we went there. In spite of good, friendly and attentive service (full marks for that) it was a bit of a disap

Hi Alex I've been to the man behind the curtain...it is as much "an experience" as it is a meal. Its not cheap (-L-120 or so per person) for the option we took...but you got 10 courses with 7 different drinks for that (the courses are not large amounts, this isn't a medieval feast).
