I do cushion everything I say against the fact that this season has
been an armchair season so far for me (Villa next weekend will be my
first live match of the season) but I am surprised generally at some of
the list negativity.

I'd presume though Dave that if we weren't blessed with Wood, we'd have another
no 9, who may, or may not, score a few?
Comparing, in any way, with Lee Chapman, actually does beggar belief in my
book. Chapman scored goals in the 1st Div, Wood will never be good enough for
that - in fact, he fi
Agreed Ted, how did he keep his job working with children? Inevitably it'll be

Agreed Dave. He's had a pretty hard job being on his own up front for most
of his time at Leeds.
He gets a lot of unfair criticism in my opinion.

I know Wood is not everyones cup of tea - but to say he is irrelevant just
beggars belief. Without his goals (another yesterday) we would be bottom,

double figures - he is there already (12 so far and even the pens h
I thought Rotherham looked like the Leeds of last year in the last year,
clueless, everything going wrong etc. Then they realised in the second half
that we are pretty average, have no real cutting edge, and thought they'd have
a go. They should have got a draw, and sadly they'd have deserved it
