Watched it again and I thought we were actually much better than I thought on
first viewing. They were really struggling to contain us last 25 minutes and
even in the first half we were pretty dominant. Most of all, our pressing was
excellent especially around the half-way line. Cooper was very, very good.

The last minute equaliser almost made this feel like a winA draw was the least
we deserved against a team that nullified us twice last season and tried to do
the same this time.
If this is their typical performance it must be shit being a wolves fan.To play
a team you beat twice last time,  who are in a bit of disarray,  on the back of
3 wins and to waste time, play act ,defend and just generally shit house your
way through a game must be awful to,watch.Nothing much had happened when
Harrison was  beaten on the touchline when we were expecting a throw in to us,
then a massive deflection led to the ball falling to the feet of their lad who
hit home. From that moment on they played for the final whistle,  going down at
the slightest contact and acting as if they were seriously injured, and the ref
fell for it all and did nothing.  A long range shot hit their defender in the
face, he went down as if ht by Tyson Furys best punch, ref, quite rightly blew
for a head injury then let him continue with no treatment and no concussion test
We struggled to reallly get going with lots of wayward and misplaced passes-
Dallas and Klitch shadows of their former selves. Raph was the shining light, a
class above everyone else on the pitch
Second half followed the same pattern of attack v,defence with them killing the
game and us not quite right.
Then an awful sliding tackle on Raph led to him being carted off - very bad news
Summerville did impress as his sub and then we brought on Geldhart and he lived
up,to the massive expectation we have of him, causing them a few problems,
then deep into injury time he waltzed through their defence and was hacked
down, a definite penalty ( ok it was at the other end and I haven't a clue if
it was a foul or not) but up,stepped Rodrigo and he fired home, rescuing a
point and sending us home happy(ish)Can only do Rod good and should help
Geldhart settle in
A well deserved point, fingers crossed Raph is ok
Dave,
