I think I read, via Marsch’s mouth, that once we’ve got another striker that’ll 
be it on the spending front? I think we’re probably going to go with 
Firpo/Davis/Dallas at left back - there are things I like about Firpo, but his 
tracking back is poor, his tackling can be very ‘robust’, and he’s injured 
again, so missed the pre-season trip to Oz. 

As for Rapha, I think he may stay, as Barca don’t seem to be able to fund it, 
and despite the ‘if he doesn’t want to stay let him go’ brigade, he saved us 
last year, is international class when he wants to be, is a match-winner. 
Having said that, he’ll probably sign for Chelsea this afternoon :-) 

One thing’s for sure, the first xi will definitely be a Jesse Marsch team, so 
it’ll be interesting to see what he’s got? Some intriguing signings mean we may 
just be a surprise package this season? In a good way!
