Despite the comeback, that was simply not good enough. Kristenson and Firpo cannot defend and the central pair were like watching the Chuckle brothers. Never rated Struijk as a central defender and I think today really showed why. Our midfield was non-existent.  They were proper shite and we

Agree with what you say about Greenwood, but I have to say that seemingly playing 4-4-2 has left Gyabi and Greenwood a bit outnumbered. On Sun, 8 Jan 2023 at 14:56, wrote: > When I said we’ll need to score 3 to win it, can I increase that to 4! > > Llorente/Struijk - Cooper must be pissing

When I said we’ll need to score 3 to win it, can I increase that to 4! Llorente/Struijk - Cooper must be pissing himself! There is zero organisation in that defence! It’s way past embarrassing! Having Greenwood & Gelhardt on is like playing with 2 men down. Greenwood is probably only one lazy

Not sure how much our part B-team will worry Cardiff, but hopefully we’ll have more than enough for them. Firpo on the pitch, so prepare for slapstick - he might even score, but whether he’ll defend or not who knows? I do actually think this should be comfortable, for no logical reason

Brilliant memory post King of Tonga. Yes, some of us still live with the memory of that game, and I think a few of us still regard that as the last time LUFC had any ambition to progress in that competition. I'm not sure this squad are 1972 capable, but I wish at least we'd give it a fucking
