I watched on tv, and I know being at the game is always more telling,
particularly if you’ve had a few beers, but there were parts of the game early
on which which were pretty poor. The constant giving the ball away, and the
misplaced long balls - I get the trying to stretch the game, and how
Agreed, I didn’t go last night but managed to watch on LUTV and I thought it
was another poor performance from Ayling. His passing seems to have deserted
him completely.
I thought we were poor first half but second half mainly due to Hernandez we
took them apart and should have won by more.
I
Pablo showed just how much we miss him when he’s not there. He would be the
first name on the team sheet for me.
Thought Phillips was superb. I still think that no one else in the squad is
capable of hitting the 50 yard plus cross field balls that he does.
I also thought that Forshaw looked good
Not to be negative but I thought Ayling was poor. I think to play Bielsaball
you need to be a thinking footballer and Ayling ain't one. He is best when he
plays quick and direct. As soon as he stops and has to think he makes mistakes.

Well those of you who thought that we had been 'rumbled' may have to re-think
things after a totally dominant display and a real return to the peak
'Bielasball' last night - albeit against a very poor team who were low on
confidence
Two slight moans - first,
an achievement to become so unpopular when we had such a succession of
average players in recent years.

Well if its true .. But at this moment it seems a bit more likely than Howson
asking for 25k fantasy. Hopefully Howson will make a stand and reject the move
but that would be a brave decision given the state of the club.
And yes we won 3-1 but unlike Burnley where we turned it around we were

I know the Bates apologists
If you are a ST holder Bates has already had the opportunity to bend you over
brokeback mountain style. He doesn't care if you don't go as the cash was
trousered last year.
If ST holders were to attend the game, not spend any money and sit there in
silence it is likely to have a huge impact. I
Yes I know that but I still don't feel like going whilst bates lies.

My only comment to RIch, Paul and anyone else who is talking about not going
again or are on about not renewing STs - that is your decision and up to you
BUT if you are going to do this as a 'protest' then for goodness sake write
/email the club and let them know a. That it is a protest and
Given the poor/useless quality of the radio stream on LUTV, for the
match, yesterday I did not hear every thing and in fact gave up entirely trying
to listen not long after half time; however I am and avid listener from out
here in the colonies each week and find that Eddie usually speaks a lot
From what I heard there was nothing positive and no criticism of Howson. The
broadcasters were as critical as Gray.
