Thanks so much for getting in touch and for posting news of Guy’s death
on the Leeds email list.
Leeds United was one of Guy’s passions and he was delighted that they
had returned to the premiership and was following their progress (or in
some cases, lack of progress) with dedication.
I and the family would love to see the postings so do send them on. You
could also post them on Guy’s own facebook page (which has a death
notice and some tributes) or we could post them on their behalf.
Due to the Covid restrictions there cannot be a proper funeral and the
family can’t be there at the cremation in Amsterdam. His ashes will be
repatriated to the UK and we will arrange for some memorial meetings,
with lots of real ale, in both Amsterdam and in London in a few months,
when the weather will be warmer and (hopefully) Covid will be in retreat.
