Leeds make it three in a row

For the third consecutive year, Leeds United emerged winner of the Central
Football Association's Sanitank League Cup when it whipped Caroni Connection
on penalties on Saturday on the Woodford Lodge Recreation Ground. Leeds had
to come from behind to wipe off a three-goal deficit, after Amare Thomas
(23rd and 26th minutes) and Malcolm Nedd (41st) gave Caroni Connection a
handy lead.

Substitute Marcus Blackett opened the account for Leeds in the 42nd minute
from a header and former national player, Trent Lougheed netted the second
in the 45th minute.Leeds levelled the scored in the 53rd min from a penalty
by Michael Reneaud in the 53rd minute.At the end of normal time, the score
was locked 3-3 with Leeds emerging winner 6-5 from the penalty spot.
