Bit of a sad day today, the YEP building has been demolished. The clock and temperature display was revolutionary in Leeds when it first appeared and we always used to look at it as we went under the tunnels of the inner ring road.
We also used to see if we could hold our breath whilst travelling between the tunnels. It was hard when you were 5. So there you have it, a little bit of Leeds history. However, as I was writing this mail I found this.
