3CR Radio, Melbourne's independent and progressive radio station is
having its annual subscriber drive.
3CR Radio has over 400 volunteers and 20 different languages on air each
week.
3CR Radio is community radio where you can hear programs produced by and
for Kooris, women, environmentalists, community language groups, social
justice organisations, trade unions, lesbian and gay people, community
artists, alternative musicians and local artists.
The Australia Asia Worker Links radio program, Asia Pacific Currents
can be heard every Saturday morning on 3CR Radio at 9.00am.
3CR Radio can remain free of government and corporate sponsorship with
the support of our subscribers.
If you become a subscriber you can get discounts at the movies, bike
shops, music outlets and many other businesses in and around Melbourne.
You also get a chance to become involved in the running of 3CR via the
Federation meetings.
Subscriber week prizes include Queenscliff music festival double passes,
DVD player worth $500, a crumpler bag worth $200, dinner at Clay Pots in
St Kilda up to $160, and many smaller prizes.
