The arc on the top is puzzling. I think it's done on a router table. The main cove could be cut using the spindle to support the square stock. Then I think the little coves could be cut from the side. Maybe the top piece is really just glued on. It's been bugging me for years. It might be

I'm no expert when it comes to installing inlays, but I would think you could trace the emblem and then us a sharp utility knife to cut the outline out. Then use the dremel tool to hog out the material. Epoxy was my first guess for glue, I would think CA would be brittle and pop off in time.
