Make the block as a square
mount it on the table under the router with the corner to be removed up
Use a cove bit to remove the corner down as far as you need to be
re-mount the block on the flat left side and flute

The arc on the top is puzzling. I think it's done on a router table. The main
cove could be cut using the spindle to support the square stock. Then I think
the little coves could be cut from the side. Maybe the top piece is really
just glued on. It's been bugging me for years. It might be

trace the emblem and then us a sharp utility knife to cut the outline out. Then
use the dremel tool to hog out the material.
Epoxy was my first guess for glue, I would think CA would be brittle and pop
off in time.

There is not such a thing as a dumb question, Yes I've done some testing. I
ruined one cane tiring to reset the pewter inlays. ;-(
In theory resetting the inlays is easy, trace the outline and then using a

I have Design Kits coming in this week, yes and Legacy have them as
well. Any CNC guys would be better off keeping them as they will have
a use for them.

I've got a dumb question. Are the pewter items secure? Have you done a stress
test to see if catching on edges causes them to pop off? I think I would have
tried to inset them a little in the cane.
