I like the idea but, the use of a forstner bit in a router would scare the hell out of me! There is no way to reduce the speed to 500 rpms which is a pretty normal speed limit range on forstners. I could certainly see using a larger plunge router bit or if the hole is really big maybe even a

Another short thing to add, 5 degrees or rotation can be done with the crank handle method of indexing. Using the D gear and cranking the x-axis screw twice will get you 5 degree increments if you have connected your rotary table to the drive system. I also like the 9 hole template idea. I
