I realy like your index method, (I use it quite often) have you
figured out a better way to lock the handle in place so it dose not
move while the cutting is being done? I use a peice of scrap wood and
a vicegrip clamp to hole the gears, but some better lock or index on
the handle would
I have never had to secure it. It stays put. If your system is so well
lubricated that your handle will rotate down when milling, then make the
bottom of the rotation the handle stop point. The beauty of this system
is the fact that you are able to just crank and cut without pins or
clamps
