Some of the plated parts on my machine are starting to get some corrosion on
them. Does anyone have a tip for cleaning them?

I use oil and fine steel wool on my fire arms if you’re worried about marking
the parts with abrasive
If not a wire wheel in your drill can work . I also used dyna-glide and 400grit
wet and dry sand paper on my saw bench table (well my version of dyna any way )
I still can’t get it here
And I
steel wool and coke,
Or use a Mr. Clean magic eraser
Then get some oil on them

Once cleaned I use a light coating of kerosene which is a form of liquid
paraffin leaving a soft slick noncorrosive protective surface. In many years of
use I've never experienced any buildup or any other issues.
