The phrase “Who said put it back in the garbage?” was British humour at play or
even work.
I plead guilty to doing similar things from time to time. A few years back I
salvaged a couple of alabaster table lamp base from the skip (UK version of a
building site dumpster which costs about

If I was altering the legs I think I would do a really fast pitch like one turn
for the length of the leg with many starts in a rope but it really is a
personnel choice and there is heaps as you know
Make a whole new leg from scrap to see what it will look like first then if you
don’t like it l
Also who says you have to let the rest of the table stay plain it’s not like it
cost you much knock yourself out have fun make it a work of art all over, and
post pics it will give us all something to talk about on here :-) and you might
make a few bucks off it at the end
