The 4x gears are for larger work usually that need larger pitches or if you want to for some reason want a really fast spiral The 4x gears repeat or come close to some of the 2x, .25 and standard gears Pitches for the .25x gears ½, ¾, 1, 11/8 , 1 ¼, 1 ½ ,1 7/8 inches per rotation Pitches
