I don’t have much in the way of pictures they were lost in my house fire but i
copied a couple of pics from the net to give you an idea of
Spirals on larger dia work shorter pitches compared to larger pitches i think
larger pitches just look better on bigger work
Bill
From:
The 4x gears are for larger work usually that need larger pitches or if you
want to for some reason want a really fast spiral
The 4x gears repeat or come close to some of the 2x, .25 and standard gears
Pitches for the .25x gears ½, ¾, 1, 11/8 , 1 ¼, 1 ½ ,1 7/8 inches per rotation
Pitches
Bill,Thank you for the copy of the page. Based on that - it confirms: I do not have one. Before any of us jump in and say "Sign me up for one.", can you give us some info on what you can do with the 4X Set - say, versus the 2X Set. Both a narrative and pictures will be Very helpful. Thanks for
Easy it would look like this

website. Everything is located in Belleville, Illinois 62226 and will do
individual pictures in the mean time to you direct email address. Just ask
and I will try to identify the parts.

Hi Michael
Weight is one major difference, they were made of a thicker steel plate because
on the Model 2000 machines you could turn big lengths and diameter material.
