I believe you can take the red end piece off and the legs will hold things in place... I'm only guessing by looking at your photos. The next problem would be the two pieces that raise and lower the inner rails. You might have to remove those as well. What is the dimensions of the post? Tim -

Both of those should go with the machine.  Both are built by Legacy.  If I recall, one should have a 60 tooth gear and the other a pair of 30 tooth gears. These where never meant to be taken apart.  Unlike the other gears, these have a hole in the center that has bearings in them.  I hope that h

I will have to remove the red piece. It is pretty straight forward on the left but the right is where the motors is mounted and the thickness of the piece is needed. It'll be easy to put washers or something in there I assume as long as the strength of the machine at that end is still enough. I'l

Thank you - Again Tim. Have decided to add the Plunge router to the Ebay listing instead of lowering the price for the next 30 days. Curious as to NO watchers on my listing yet one of the others, higher price and less accessories has 22 watching. May end up taking the machine off Jim's custom
