Hey, my 200 is tricked out, I would miss it! I recall paying more than retail,
but it came complete with a router, rust, and wrong parts. No wonder he didn't
use it much.

Roger,You just haven't offered him a "King's Ransom" - he's holding out.Offer him enough, and when his wife finds out - you'll have a deal!To be honest, I don't think you (or I) would want a Model 200 bad enough to offer up a "King's Ransom"for one.Heck, I bet if your offer got high enough, Tim
For a lathe chuck, you would use the shopsmith adapter for your chuck like bill
said.

Curt,
I talked to the guy a couple of times. I know he will come down in price.
If you need any help picking it up and shipping, I'll be glad to help.

That would be ideal. Is the female thread the same as the REVO?

That would be ideal. You can get practically everything you need with a
1*8 thread. Is the shopsmith the same thread as the REVO?

However you are wrong, for this gentleman wishes to keep this wonderful piece
of machinery because unlike his CNC machines it does not take up a lot of room!
And by the way, what are these Pounds you mention because they have now been re

Hi RayFirst of
Hi Ray
First of all I remember delivering your machine to you.
Now if you send me a picture of the Headstock on your REVO I might be able to
tell what NOVA Insert you need, since retiring I have done a bit of consultancy
work for Teknatool (NOVA).
On the subject of the Model 200 I know where
That's the one. 5/8" smooth bore to 1-8 threads.

Penn state industries has what you need. It's a shop Smith adapter that you
are looking for. It fits over the 5/8" shaft and it has the 1-8 threads that
fit most chucks.

It’s a standard 4 jaw chuck with 1 inch by 8 tpi and supplied with a screw in
adaptor then it all slips on the revos spindle and done up with grub screws you
can see it all in the pic in the last posting I sent

Thanks Bill – that’s just what I need. Can someone tell me what a 3/8- 24
thread is? Is that 3/8” diameter and 24 tpi?
Ideally I’d like an insert for my Supernova Chuck but not found one with that
small a diameter. There is a firm that will cut a customised one I found – now
all I have
