I still get a kick out of the guy who built a booby trapped box. Put a gps chip
in it, loaded it with a yellow paint ball and stink bomb that exploded when the
package was opened. And a camera inside that recorded it all and wirelessly
sent out the video (with sound) to the guy who built it.

You would not be liable for littering, a stolen package is just that. No
enforcement agency would hold you to blame. But you could always black out the
name and address on the label first. No thief will check the label I am sure.

You know what? I think I will actually try this. Out local news station has
been showing a number of ring videos of people stealing packages.
Besides, some good cedar chips might be a good gift for some thief.
