Having good wheels of equipment is always a good idea, for any machine that
needs to be moved around the shop. I changed my original Shop-Smith wheels with
ball bearing wheels, with a softer rubber wheel, I have been very happy with

For your Shop Smith something like this should work out well. For the Legacy
you will need a different type of mounting, perhaps a screw
wood craft caster's lock both ways Curtis. The lock the swivel and the
wheel itself. Great casters I own a couple sets.

doesn't have its wooden top plate. (one that could be made for it very

As far as your indexing
Still seeking info regarding the types of material used as the "tires" on casters. Some material is better than others - as well as some "brands" may be better than others.There of course are many sizes and styles - but probably fewer choices when it comes to the tyre material (for those in the UK
