Mac its all got to do with math you multiply the number of starts by the width of the cutter in this case 4 times 1 ½ which is 6 so that is the 6inch pitch so to get the next start you disconnect the leadscrew and move the saddle along 1½ inches the cutter width and reingauge the leadscrew that

Bill,Thanks.  Could you have moved the saddle 3" after cutting the first path (instead of the 1 1/2"?)?  That would have given you "cut #3" - then come back and do numbers 2 and 4 after that?   Seems like you could cut them in any "order" - so was just curious.Your filming is great - hard to believ
