Not difficult, installed 2 muiti zone ones in my own home 2 years ago which
each took a 15A-220V circuit but I ran 12-2 rated for 20 amps, however,
depending which State you’re in and what NEC Code version they follow a GFCI
protected circuit may be required which could add over $100 cost.

It's funny because I'm going through the same thing: got a Minisplit to
install but need an electrician to put in the 220 and disconnect. Nobody
will reply to me! Frustrating.
