HDPE and Acetal – Some Differences HDPE compared to Delrin Acetal Homopolymer
The HDPE sheet and rod is a softer material, and is commonly known for its FDA
certification and used in numerous food applications, such as: one gallon milk
jugs, cutting boards,
I always found that plastic a little soft for anything like a bearing I don’t

Wow Vadim I am super glad others are now getting on board with this. Saves
tons of plastic in the landfill too then.
If you choose to do the meltdown.
Yeah and the tap was not that expensive. The quality was awesome and I even
think I will reorder another just to
have a spare. Hey we have an
Great info Dan and thanks for sharing. Yeah I would get booted by my
daughter and my wife on that one.
No touchy oven lol.
So where did you get the stash of Delrin? I am going to order some of that

Tim, looks great! I finally got my ACME screw tap in the mail, gotta go pick up
some Delrin or HDPE next. Or take Dan’s advice and bring all of my saved up
milk jugs to someone else’s wife’s house and use her oven. Any of y’all want to
volunteer yours?
Happy Monday.

About two weeks ago (I think) I ordered the requisite tap and it should be
here tomorrow. I have no need to use it right away, but wanted to have it
as part of the system when the time comes. I have a stash of Delrin and
nylon blocks.
Something I didn't know until I was 10 years ago old is
Do you have them running wild on you land too then?

Yeah and you should hear the commotion when a flock fly's over and you have
tall trees. They have a hard
time perching so usually they ground land and come to a rolling stop about
50 yards from where they touch (crash)
down. that actually helps keep the meat tender too.
