Carter Products, They make a lot of neat tools, but this is one that I have not
tried. So I am sorry to say, I have No first hand experiences on this topic. I
can not help you.If you decide to try it

I don't own a Shopsmith bandsaw but will say my PM1800 has bearings and
would never go back to a bandsaw
with out either having them or adding them.
In my opinion, I would highly recommend them to you if they are adaptable
to the shopsmith. You can't go wrong.
