I appreciate the input guys. I have began to document my time, machine
time and materials on the projects I am building so I can establish whether
or not a project is viable from a profit standpoint. I am sure I will find
some items are profitable and some are not.

It took 10 hours to carve each box. It is 4 separate pieces; The top and
bottom are two sided carves and the center sections are simple vector
operations. I spent two hours sanding on each and about 30 minutes on each
to finish.
This is a project i may start selling. You guys have

My wife bought one of those quilting machines last year and I thought I

Thanks for the welcome guys. Most of my past projects have been
building cabinetry and case work. I built an Arts and Crafts inspired
entertainment center that covers one wall of my TV room. I also do a
fair amount of refinishing; I like to take cast off furniture and
restore it back to life.
Hello to all. I recently joined the group because I own a 900 mill. I
have had the mill for 5 years and never really used it much; not due
to disinterest but mostly time. I believe the machine is fantastic. I
purchased the mill with most of the accessories and I just added the
