I agree with Bill, time is money. I do alot of glue ups and I often use
biscuits for alignment. The time it takes to cut the biscuit slots, get the
clamps ready, do a dry run and then hope everything is properly aligned is
time consuming. These verticle clamping vises are the ticket to

these PLANO Glue Press clamps look and seem to work great by what i see on the
internet but a bit expensive im seeing like $200 a clamp and you would need at
least 4 of them
$800 is a awful lot of money for some clamps
wouldn't 4 sash clamps and 8 pieces of square metal tubing with holes drilled

The price per clamp is about $125 per clamp depending on the size. As is
usually the case you can make something that works as good yourself--if you
have the skills and time. I am finding that when you are doing one of
something, it is probably not worth the money if you are not certain
