I agree with Curt. I can make miter joints on my LOM, but there are definitely
easier ways.

I would do them flat on the table with a 90 degree v grooving bit and a wast
block each side to stop breakout. and 2 pieces butted together you can do 2
joints at once. or you could used a 45 degree miter lock joint one on the table
and the other in the vertical vice
