What kind of hole are you using needing to plug? This is for a .375 hole
slightly smaller than you have So maybe you measured improperly, maybe you
rounded up and this will work.

The holes are already in the wood its a two step hole, the opening as I said is
.400 Most likely its a metric set and the plug is really an odd ball size.
In a pinch I did make a spindle and cut IT to size to fit the holes last night,
but they are not what I want,
