If you have two Surnames entered in the surname field in Legacy you can
select the format of surnames on the report options format tab.
If you tell Legacy to print surnames in All Caps then both names entered
in the surname field will be capitalized. That same format tab has the
option

I was very glad to find out how to set the option for cremated in the
Legacy program that I use and have used, (and recommend often to people who
want a great genealogy program). It seems that the cremated choice is
becomming more popular and since I include and record many lateral lines

The little box you mention is the Ancestor Color indicator box. When you point
at it for someone who is not in your ancestral line (the box will have no
color) you will get the message Not in Current Ancestor Line at the bottom of
the screen.

Legacy program to the Family view, which is how it
always opens, and it looks very different!!! It
changed all by itself!! The print is much smaller and
the 'blocks of space' are larger. I just used it
yesterday, so it just changed today.
