I thank all who responded about the charting error message. My Legacy is
installed on my main hard drive "E", but after checking "Legacy Charting" it is
on "C" Drive. I ordered v. 7 shortly after the release, and am now just trying
to use the charting. I just now put the Legacy CD in to chec

There is a log of MRIN changes which I just reviewed. I made many
many changes in MRINs Dec 28 and Dec 30 including these (that was
when I changed my filing system). If something messed up then, you'd
think I would have noticed before now because I use the INDEX all the

I do not keep an icon on my desktop, but did hover over "Charting" under All
Programs and it is showing to be installed in C.
A repairman installed a new hard drive a couple of years ago, partioned it, and
made my main hard drive E, I was very upset, but he said he couldn't do
anything about it

I am running the most recent version of Legacy 7 Deluxe. How is it that my
alternate names screen is filled in, sometimes with 2 copies of the same name,
when I don't use the feature at all? For nicknames, I simply put the nick in
quotation marks in the given name field.

Ahhh...sorry. I should have said, make an image of the document, then use
software (such as Paint Shop) to darken the text, print the document and OCR
it. This is the long way around the barn but sometimes it works.

You might also darken the text using software such as Corel Paint Shop Pro.
I did that recently on some old letters from Sweden and the text sharpened
up considerably. Then try OCR'ing it. Using Paint Shop think I used Color,
Fade Correction but you need to play around with the options to see
