Okay
Most genealogical websites use the same endnote number when the citation is
exactly the same. They really have to because of the space considerations.
That also makes it much easier to copy the source and citation into Legacy.
If you want to follow hardcopy publication rules, perhaps print as
Hi, Ward - sorry - I meant a Descendant Book Report, not a Descendant Report. I'll be sure to check the bug report you mention below.

Hi mbstx,
Re: short forms:
I can't seem to enable any source printing for the Descendant Report. Did you
mean the Descendant Book report? This is one of the known bugs around
Subsequent Citations -- they work in certain reports when you use footnotes,
but they do not work when you use endnotes.
As far as all the research I have done on standards for genealogical
research one should enter the name at the time of the event (i.e up here in
Ontario we have had Districts changed to Counties and Counties changed to
Regional Municipalities) so all my entries refer to the name at the time of

I think I would put it in the alt burial event as a note.

Hello everyone. I would appreciate some advice. I am entering a
cemetery into Legacy for whom several of my ancestors are in. Over
the years, the name of the cemetery has often changed.
Where would you suggest I make a note of these name changes? I don't
think it would be a good idea to select
Robert,
I have not tried changing the page size, but I have changed page content with
an automatic change in the index.
Please see my tutorial at http://www.fergys.co.uk/Blogs/AncBk.php
Hopefully this will give you some idea as to how to approach the problem.
Sorry, but I have yet to do a
Hi Gayle
Go to G drive on your host PC and double-click on Legacy7Setup to install
from there. When complete open MojoPac - you should then find Legacy
Charting and Legacy 7 shortcuts on your virtual desktop.

Has anyone successfully used Open Office with Legacy's RTF format? I
am particularly interested if anyone produced an RTF format file

Thank you
Hi Paula,
Yes, there is a reason for 12 September 1918. It was the date of the "third
registration" for the U.S. draft for WWI.
Here is some information about it, as found on Ancestry.com.
In 1917 and 1918, approximately 24 million men living in the United States
completed a World War I draft
Don,
I do not understand you. You said, if I read correctly, that you did *not* want
any Source Citations - so why check "Print Source Citations". My comment was to
uncheck it!
