I downloaded OO and installed Base, but I haven't figured out how to open my
.fdb file. When I tell it I want to open an Access file it does not give access
to any files in the folder where I made a copy of my Legacy *.fdb Do I need to
change the extension, or what?
Thanks

Just went to Legacy, clicked Legacy Home, clicked check for updates and got the
instant response that I had the latest build. It also gave a couple of links
under Legacy News, which worked.
No problem.

But how do you satisfy yourself that the Mozy website will be around forever?
Hi Susan,
I have just signed up for Mozym but still expect to continue backing up to
CD's, bu Mozy will provide another layer of safety if it survives, and if it
don't then I'm no worse off.

name? I do not mean that the given name is unknown, but that he has only one
name. I am speaking not only of historical characters such as Moses, but
contemporary people with only one name, such as a
I make a *.jpg graphic of the document and attach it in the picture galley
of the marriage, event or source file or direct to the individuals galley if
appropriate.
With PrintKey and a scanner the graphic is easy to make.

Staring a couple of weeks ago, when I start Legacy I get a pop-up starting
to install Easy CD and DVD Creator, which has long been installed on my
computer (as has Legacy), but every time I have to click cancel repeatedly
to finely get Legacy to run.
How do I get it to stop this?

number and then sort by date of birth?
To me that would be much more useful than sorting by RIN, most of which, at
least in my file, are random numbers, since there is no way to assign them

Hi Cathy,
Thanks Cathy. Refresh sure made a difference. I can now eliminate some
unattached individuals that I have no idea where they came from.
Thanks again,

When I click on Tree Finder it lists only one tree, not mine!
So I click on Tag the entire tree 10,796 individuals with tag # 1.
Then I bring up my name and tag ancestors with # 2.
A search of tag #2 brings up a list of 16,997 individuals, including the
